Perforated what?

We had a river-boat cruise the other night. Our owner sponsored it so we got to go party and eat for a few hours. Apparently I've been allowing my personality to come out as of late because a few of the guys have mentioned that they are corrupting me. Not allowing credit where credit is not due, I have been quick to correct them that I do not act like myself if people are finding any excuse to harass me. Because this was my rookie year, they were riding me a lot and just nit-picking eveything, but now that the season is coming to a close, they are loosening up. Since they've loosened up I feel like I am able to be myself and do/say smartass things. I made a really smartass comment the other day and somebody said that I was catching the asshole-itus. I told him that I always was a smartass except in positions without authority. Anyways back to the fun stuff, we got kicked out of the Mellow Mushroom in Chattanooga after the cruise because apparently 2 random dudes felt like they could beat up 20 athletic raft guides. Ha!!! I ended up getting thrown into a table trying to restrain one of our guys. Noone was hurt and the cops came. It was an exciting night.

I have a perforated ear drum. The doc gave me some antibiotics for it and i have a check up tomorrow. Apparently my river manager doesn't know what perforated means because i had emailed him telling him that and he called me and was surprised when i mentioned that the hole in my ear drum might take a few days to heal. He's not dumb, just not an english person.

I met this exceedingly attractive river guide the other day from another company. She and I were in an eddy and we started chit-chatting. My logic may be flawed, but if a girl can look cute in a PFD, Helmet, and guide shorts, she's got to be hot in regular clothes! Anywho, I'm going to try and find her at the huge party this weekend. They'll be showing the carnage video of all the mess-ups on the river at this company called Adventures Unlimited. Perhaps we'll be able to meet and actually have a conversation that ends with myself getting her phone number. We shall see...

That's about it. Got one more busy week of full-time rafting. The river shuts on during the week after this coming monday and it'll only run on the weekends through the end of October. It has been an awesome season.
