Sorry for the incessant amount of haikus. it's a great way to summarize stuff in a very brief few statements.

I heard from UAB today. Guess what... another alternate/wait list! Boy what fun...

Sure a lot of people would say that it's not rejection but I don't think many people have sat in a "not-rejected" status for 6 months (my last year's army app which i will be an alternate for until august classes) before getting another "not-rejected" status. Not rejected is the same thing as "hey, you're not good enough, but we'll give you some hope to hang on to". Not rejected is not "accepted". That's the bottom line and i'm so frustrated and pissed off that I'm so confident that I know where I want to go and all i keep getting is "wait a little longer. we'll see if our varisty squad makes it to enrollment". Fuck!!!

Yea my life's not bad and things could be worse... there's the obligatory perspective with a rant like this. I'm gonna go knock back some bailey's on ice and get my shit together for army shenanigans this weekend.
