My day minus a banana

So today turned out to be less than productive. I did not get to doing that lab report... well i did a little bit... if a little bit encompasses printing out the requirements and reading over the data. i'll most definately be getting to writing some of it tomorrow night. Although tomorrow will be a full day... i guess it will make up for my lack of doing anything productive today. I'll be taking my PT test at 9:00, helping a friend lay sod from then until 1:00, getting my oil changed at 1:00, and then I'll probably swing by the rock wall for a climb since i haven't been in 2 days.

I have recently been introduced to a most stimulating late night show that goes by the name of The Colbert Report. This dude is awesome!!!!!!!!! His dry sense of humor is second to noone whom I know! Stay up and watch it! If you in fact possess a brain and use it for things of the intellectual nature, you won't be disappointed!

Shoutouts to my yankees out west. They are in their 2nd most dangerous spot until tomorrow or the next day. Oh and btw, when you guys (nancy and jessica) read this, which you will!, I will have sent a couple of pics from our SMokeys trip to my grandma. I promise they'll be good pictures! ;-)

can i make it 2 fruitful days?

So today i worked on making a modification to my paintball gun. i won't mention specifically what it is on the internet and if you ask me on the phone i will explain why. So i worked on that and got it done. ill try and test it tomorrow although i don't know if i have any CO2 for my gun. ive been working on my ghille suit for paintball as well. i almost have the jacket done and then if i have any twine left ill do myself a pair of pants although pants are not necessary if you are kneeling. and yes, i know, i rarely ever get to go play paintball these days but i am working on these things for 2 reasons:
1. its fun to think something up and make it... and then have it actually turn out like you wanted and have it work
2. these things won't break from sitting in my closet so i will have them when i find time to get back around to playing a lot.

i went to lunch with b-diddy today. we went to milos and i have determined that their food is way too salty and greasy for my liking... well... i guess i can stand it once or twice a year.

i also took off a day of working out today because my foot felt a little bruised on the ball area. not knowing whether it was a stress fracture in the making or whether i just put a lot of my weight on a pointy hold while rock climbing, i didn't know so i decided better safe than sorry.

tomorrow i will try and test my contraption and i will go climbing after that. no running or lifting of weights because of my PT test for my army school on Friday. i'm also feeling an urge to get this lab report done that i have to do for my tropical ecology class since i will be out of town when it is due.

and lastly, just in case my two yankees read this later:

nancy, short stuff, my long lost fraternal twin... i miss you and can't wait to see you!... whenever that is

jessica, small fry, jess, my ladyfriend... i miss you a lot! i miss our drinking nights and sleep overs and such! 6 more weeks and i'll be seeing you! Keep your eye on the grape woman, i am! ;-)

Alas!

So today i went to the gym... gotta get into shape for my NCO (Army) school next week. I ran and lifted some light weights and did some situps. i tried to climb again but my arm muscles were telling me that they were about to split so i stopped. there were these attractive ladies going to the car next to mine when i as leaving UAB today. They were ditzy as hell though so take away hotness and you have just your average woman. although i looked in the rearview mirror and saw them looking at my car/me and the young lady driver mouthed words that seemed similar to "hes hot"... yay... i impressed some ditzy as fuck freshmen... woot! only not really... the real woot for the day goes to me getting to talk to Jessica. i know, its sad but i'm definately seeing how the good ole keekster felt when she finally felt like she could enjoy life without having any more lingering feelings or whatever... kiki i think you know which post i am referencing. Anywho, Jessica is doing well and it'll be another 6 weeks until i get to see her. Brazil beat Ghanna today although Ghanna played better than they did... bummer... France beat Spain so Brazil and France will play each other. Awesome day!

Longing

So I just got back from a training school for my reserve unit. I had to learn how to be an armorer which was very cool. We got to break down, fix, and assemble army firearms all week!!! I got back and went to the gym today. I ran 2.5 miles, lifted a few weights, and climbed on the wall for an hour and a half :-D This whole climbing thing has really festered into an addiction! I am missing my yankee amiga Jessica... it'll be another 6 weeks and a day till I get to see her again. Sure it's not the longest wait in the world but I have time to think about her during the day and that leads to longing to see her or even talk to her. It also doesn't helped that I never know when she is going to have service because she is back packing the West. Ah well... I'm trying to motivate my bro to go out job hunting. He's on his computer so the motivating is not working all that well.

Shoutouts to kikster and ms. jodi!
