Grown up just a bit

So today i had interesting run ins with female persons all day... not unusual because the ratio of female to male is roughly 50:50... a sad world on the day that i wouldn't run into female company at any point during the day, oh wait, those sad days happened at basic training hahahaha!! But anywho, today i was observing female persons as prospective datees and some were attractive. However, i got past the attractiveness of the females and did something that i haven't really done in the past, which is unbiasly observe their mannerisms and behavior. Not let myself get caught up in the fact that they are cute and seem nice (guys can easily fall victim to this) and i just really observed what made them tick as people. After doing said observations i realized that although some of these female persons would make great flings, i didnt really find someone who i really liked as they were (i didnt observe all female friends like this). There were a few that i thought, if they did this or if they grew up just a bit, or blah blah. But if i were to pursue a relationship with any of these, i would not be happy with them as they were and they would essentially be just a project girlfriend. So i feel in making these kind of observations and realizing that these people would just make better friends... i feel i have grown up a little in terms of how i approach a relationship with a potential suitorette.
