Republicans Screwed Their Constituents?

John Kerry just said that the republicans who voted against the bill today were showing cowardice and screwed their constiutents. I haven't seen any data but i'm pretty sure most people didn't want the bill to pass because they didn't think these issues on Wall Street would affect them. They emailed and called their respective congressmen and those congressmen voted. So how is it cowardice to vote the way your constituents want you to? I mean maybe cowardice to not say "I know better than they do" but then you just look like a pompous ass hole who doesn't care about what your constituents think.

Side question: why the fuck can't people fucking get along when the entire economy is at stake? It's like being on the play ground in fucking elementary school again playing the blame game, only everyone is wearing a suit!!! We pay these people a lot of money out of our taxes to handle these issues and they just want to talk about who's at fault. ugg!!!

10s go for 10s

an interesting read about men who don't know where they "rank socially" (that's a term I use to describe where people fit in, and looks are a part of that fitting in).

Excitement and confusion

There's a little bit of both running around my head. Both are stemming from thoughts of a woman... they [women] just have this way of monopolizing the male brain.

On a side-[and completely unrelated]note: I mailed my supplementary application into UAB's PA Program on Friday. The initial application was a last minute shot in the dark kind of thing but it seemed to work out one step further than I thought it would. I figure if I can get an interview, I feel like I could talk myself into a class slot... but I'll just keep myself grounded until I hear if I've got an interview or not.

Got a physiology test on Thursday... in the class of idiots who can't find an appendix in the book. I feel sorry for them, because I think this professor is going to test on a level that is higher than they are expecting. It will be an sort of Academic Darwinian Selection. :-)
