Lots of new shinanigans

So I paid off my car loan today. My car is mine!!! Like not on loan from the bank anymore!!! It's freaking sweet! Now I'll have an extra $170 a month with which to use and i don't know, maybe buy outdoor gear??? Anywho, I'm stoked about it!

In other news, I went to a "does god exist" debate this week. I think I'll talk about that in a future post because it's waaaay too much to write right now.

Statistics test 2didn't go as well as i had hoped but whatev... it doesn't really matter anymore because... big climactic news coming...... wait for it.....................................

...................................I got an interview with UAB's PA School!!!!!! It's pretty rediculous considering my application was a last minute shot in the dark send off. Now I've just got one more hoop to jump through before I'll know whether i'll be in school next fall. I just have to decide what kind of suit to wear... wait i forgot something, I don't own a suit so i'll have to decide which one to buy first.

I starting climbing hard this week. Been 3 days so far and plan to go with my bro on Sunday so that'll make 4 days in a week. I'm hoping to really get my strength back by the end of November so i can start projecting V4s/5s (bouldering) and 5.10s (routes).

Went out to the lake last saturday to practice rolling my kayak. It was plush! I rolled every time except once which was when I was practicing my off-side roll. Which means that I only missed my off-side roll once all the times I tried it. This is big for someone who's just started boating. I'm looking forward to lots of cold/wet boating when the rain comes over the winter.

Lastly, i've been observing surgeries at a local hospital. It's awesome!!! I can't describe how awesome it is to be feet away from a heart that has stopped beating and stays that way for 45 minutes until it's warmed back up and starts beating on its own, or to see a surgeon saw and hack away bone pieces (some of which have landed on my shoes) from an arthritic knee getting replaced. It's amazing!

All in all things is pretty good right now. *Thanking the big guy for all my blessings in print*
