The human condition and enlightenment

It seems that people are always having issues with the opposite gender. It's amusing sometimes and very annoying others. I wonder if these issues existed in ancient times when life was a lot simpler, or if by advancing and stratifying our society did we inadvertantly create differences of gender that seem to cause problems. Who knows.

on a similar note. I have decided to change something about myself. Everyone knows that in high school and for some the early years of college that exceedingly attractive people didn't have a whole lot going on upstairs. They seemed to be concerned with social pressures and specifically girls, from my point of view seemed to act ditzy because that's what guys seemed to want. As a result of these disappointing behaviors, I have been very cynical as to whether I would be able to find a young lady who was gorgeous and intelligent. Because of this cynicism, I have in the past written people, who were attractive, off in my mind who displayed any behavior that rubbed me the wrong way. Well i was thinking the other day that I certainly won't find anyone who has both a beautiful exterior and interior if all I do is write off those who are attractive when they do anything wrong. We'll see how this epiphany plays out.
