I survived and my custies did too!

So i guided the upper section of the ocoee this past saturday! it was intense. it was all that difficult, you just have to really be on your game because the consequences of messing up are severe. For example the upper doesn't run as much as the middle so the rocks are less eroded and are still pretty sharp. But anywho, i ran through the upper without a hitch. i got a verbal slap on the back by all my fellow guides on the trip for not dumping my crew at the 2 rapids that flip people. it was a combo trip so we guided the middle section after the upper and several of the senior guides messed up and had to buy beer. Yay for drinking on account of someone else's mess up. i had an extremely weak crew on the upper, which is not that good. the rapids are a lot bigger and you need more momentum going into them to run them correctly. anywho... my bro came up and we ran the middle section in a smaller version of a raft. it was awesome. i dumped him out at a safe spot and he enjoyed it. we also surfed at a good spot and he giggled like a 12 year old girl the whole time! it was awesome! a good weekend fo sho.
