Eyes are the window to the soul

The learning curve of working retail is like a graph of y=0 which means that there is no learning curve. it takes being told how to do something once and that's it. I didn't anticipate learning something more than how to entertain myself when the only customers coming in the door want north face jackets. I checked out several young customers tonight, probably in their high schoolish teens. Several of them seemed to be frustrated with actually having to deal with money and pay for things. One had a credit card in her name which mommy and daddy pay, she had over charged it and then proceeded to call her mom and bitch about it until her mom came down to buy her the jacket. I've started noticing peoples' eyes. If you really know me you know that I like looking at ladies' eyes, but I've started noticing how you can tell if someone's eyes sparkle or if they are just dull; devoid of any happy sentiment. I guess I felt like I truly understood the eyes being the window to the soul tonight. A young girl probably about 16 had really tired eyes. She seemed like someone who lacked patience and she was very abrasive when asking about checking out. Another girl had seemingly rich brown eyes and she was quite bubbly. Some shit went down with the register and I had to switch and she didn't mind a bit; she was probably 15.

I love how you just randomly added "she was 15" at the end... haha.

But, yeah... eyes are very important. They say a lot.
